Hera

Hera is a sweet and sassy pup with a heart full of love and a spark of mischief. She’s the kind of dog who will happily wrestle and play with her furry friends, then curl up for a well-deserved nap. Inside the house, she keeps herself entertained with toys and playtime, but she’s also a big fan of her cozy crate — it’s her safe haven and happy place.

 

Outdoors, Hera loves to explore, run with her doggy companions, and take in the world around her (sometimes a little too much, since she’s still learning that not everything belongs in her mouth). She walks nicely on leash, whether it’s a long line or a flat collar, though quick or unexpected approaches from strangers can make her a bit unsure. Once she realizes someone is a friend, her joyful greetings are full of jumps and kisses.

 

Hera is crate trained, doing well with house training, and already knows a handful of commands like “sit,” “crate,” and “leave it.” She’s working on building her confidence, practicing recall, staying calm indoors, and learning that the world is a safe and fun place. She’s made incredible progress with her foster family and is ready to keep growing in her forever home.

 

What Hera needs most is a patient, understanding family who will give her time to settle in and blossom. Her ideal home would balance playtime with structure, offer her a safe retreat when she needs it, and perhaps include a gentle, older dog sibling to guide her. With the right mix of love, guidance, and patience, Hera will reward her people with loyalty, laughter, and endless affection.
