I’m here and I’m ready to find my forever family! I hope my forever family is ready for a lot of fun because I love to go go go. I am only 10 months old and although I have learned a lot, I am still learning, each and every day. In my foster home, I have dog and cat friends, as well as little humans (2 and 4 years old). I sometimes need reminders about slowing down around the human kiddos but over time, I have gotten better and better. I would do okay in a home with cats, but I would need dog save cats and parents who are ready to do proper introductions so that I do not scare my new feline friends! With dogs and adult humans, I am great and will quickly make friends with just about anything - especially for treats.

Humans here! Arlo is house and crate trained and has been a respectful member of her foster home for the past 4 months. She is still working on her loose leash manners but does well once she has gotten over her initial excitement of being on a walk. Arlo loves to jump on new people so she will need a reminder each time she meets someone new that she cannot do this and that four on the floor is what we strive for.

Here’s what Arlo’s foster family would like you to know about her:

Be ready do work with this girl! Typical to the husky breed, she always wants to be doing something. Once she has had her fun, she is always ready for a good cuddle. We usually have to crate her for a nap time as she does not always know how to self regulate and will get overstimulated. Arlo likes to pick things up in her mouth (kids toys) but easily drops them when you ask. Supervision around toys is a must for this young girl!

Arlo would do best with a backyard to romp around. She loves to play with other dogs but would be okay as a solo dog if enough training/playing/walking fills her day. Arlo is the sweetest girl, she loves her pack and she wants to make her family happy. We are working on all the typical puppy things but overall, she is a happy, balanced girl who would complete almost any family.
